Cross Country
AHRMA also offers several post-vintage
classes for machines from 1975 to the early 1980s.
Motorcycle eligibility follows the post-vintage motocross
rules. Classes include:
 | Historic--divided into
88-200cc and 201cc & larger--Novice, Intermediate &
Expert. |
 | Post-Vintage--88-200cc and
201cc & larger Gran Prix or Ultima machines--Novice,
Intermediate & Expert. |
 | Post-Vintage +50--Novice,
Intermediate & Expert on any Historic or Post-Vintage
machine. |
 | Post-Vintage +60--Novice,
Intermediate & Expert on any Historic or Post-Vintage
machine. |
 | Post-Vintage +70--Novice,
Intermediate & Expert on any Historic or Post-Vintage
machine. |
At each event, separate vintage and
post-vintage races are run. At most events, separate novice
only races will be run also.
AHRMA recommends that a cross country
course not be less than 3 miles in length. All races will
run a minimum of one hour before the first finisher is
flagged off. There will be no overall winner, only class
winners.
